Overview
Thank you & welcome!
Thank you for taking the time to visit my portfolio.
I'm Abigail Crawford, and I'm currently the Name, Image, and Likeness Coordinator at San Diego State University Athletics, where I oversee revenue-sharing and third-party NIL operations while supporting more than 500 Division I student-athletes across 18 sports.
I grew up in Tallahassee, Florida, in a family where sports were always part of everyday life. That's where my passion began—but it has evolved far beyond the games themselves. What has always fascinated me most is the way sports bring people together. Whether it's creating opportunities for student-athletes, building partnerships, or navigating the ever-changing landscape of collegiate athletics, I enjoy work that sits at the intersection of relationships, strategy, and innovation.
My career has taken me through communications, operations, compliance, and NIL strategy, giving me the opportunity to work with incredible mentors, coaches, student-athletes, and industry professionals. Those experiences have reinforced something I believe deeply: the best work happens when people are willing to collaborate, adapt, and keep learning.
Outside of my professional work, giving back has always been important to me. Through seven years with Children's Miracle Network Dance Marathon and other leadership opportunities, I've learned that meaningful impact often happens behind the scenes through thoughtful planning, teamwork, and service to others. Those experiences continue to shape how I approach my work today.
This portfolio reflects both my academic foundation and my professional journey. You'll find examples of public relations campaigns, branding and communications projects, strategic planning, writing samples, and other work that has challenged me to think creatively while delivering practical solutions. While some projects were developed in the classroom, many represent real-world experiences that continue to influence how I approach my career in collegiate athletics.
Thank you again for stopping by. I hope this portfolio gives you a better understanding of who I am, the work I'm passionate about, and the perspective I bring to every opportunity. If you'd like to connect, collaborate, or simply start a conversation, I'd love to hear from you.
Warmly,
Abigail Crawford
